He has been well-known in the ID industry since joining Digital Identification International GmbH (DIl) in 2000 and was one of the two main founders of Digital Identification Solutions GmbH (DISO) in 2003 (later AG, now acquired by Matica).

In his own company, Horst Wellhäuser, together with some of the best specialists in the ID industry, has incorporated his extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the ID card sector at leading international blue-chip companies. hw-engineering GmbH & Co.
