He has been known in the ID-industry since joining Digital Identification International GmbH (DIl) in 2000 and was one of the two main founders of Digital Identification Solutions GmbH (DISO) in 2003 (later AG, now acquired by Matica).

In his own company, Horst Wellhaeuser, together with some of the best specialists in the ID-industry, has incorporated his extensive knowledge and many years of experience in the field of ID cards in leading international blue-chip companies. hw-engineering GmbH & Co.
